Home-based business scammer arrested

Have you heard of a home-based business selling “The Greatest Vitamin in the World?”

Federal authorities have arrested the scumbag who ran the scam after he failed to show for his arraignment.

Donald Lapre is charged with running a nationwide scheme to sell essentially worthless Internet-based businesses selling even more worthless vitamins.

The government says at least 220,000 people were defrauded of nearly $52 million.

An arrest warrant was issued Wednesday and the U.S. Marshals Service says deputies arrested him Thursday night in Tempe.

Remember, if it’s too good to be true, it is!
