Home-Based Travel Specialist Jobs

Our friends at VIPdesk are recruiting 150 home-based Travel/Customer Service Specialists to start training in the new year.  The pay is up to $12/hr  and includes full benefits (including medical, dental, vision and life insurance, 401(k)). Both full-time and part-time positions are available throughout the U.S.

VIPdesk hiring work at home agents

They are looking for people who are passionate about both the travel industry and providing outstanding customer service—the only caveat is that they have to have Global Distribution System (GDS) experience.  If you don’t know what that is, you probably don’t qualify, but for your edification, it’s the computer reservation system that’s used by major airlines, hotels, and car rental companies. Serving as travel, rewards, and benefits experts for a leading credit card company, these new home-based agents will assist cardholders via phone and email.

Successful Travel/Customer Service Specialists need 2+ years customer service and travel experience, as well as 2+ years experience booking domestic and international travel requests via the GDS system. Due to the home-based nature of this job, it is necessary for candidates to be self-motivated, self-disciplined, adaptable, detail-oriented and able to multitask, with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to excellence.

We’ve worked with VIPdesk and know them to be a legitimate home-based employer. If you have what the job requires, head on over to VIPdesk’s web site and get your application in!

Wow, this sounds like a great opportunity and I’d love to make my readers aware of it. However, I get really turned off when a company doesn’t offer any information on job openings unless and until you create an account.. I know it doesn’t cost anything, I just think that’s a pain in the rear end, and gating the information is going to turn a lot of people off.

I hear you Randy, but these guys are legit. I’ve even done a webinar with their President. The use both a contractor and employer model, depending on the position. Let me know if you’d like an intro to their PR person. She’s a fireball.

Are you able to truly make money just blogging? How does that work? Do you need to be really popular and have lots of readers, sponsors ( commercials ), and stuff?
